Teenagers and masturbation

It's up to every parent how they raise their children.

As far as I'm concerned, the parents should want their children to have what they never had, and most of all, they'd want their children to learn from them about sexuality, not from magazines or TV or from other equally unexperienced teenagers.

So I think that a good parent would tell his child about sexuality, before they're tempted to do things their body is not prepared for.

As I said before, I think that female masturbation is the best alternative to engaging in sexual intercourse with men that are either unprepared to begin their sexual lives or that don't mean something to the girl.

My opinion is that every parent should tell their children that masturbation is something normal, not something that they should be ashamed of, but also that it is something that they must do when they're alone.

This kind of behavior should also be accompanied by giving the teenagers the privacy they need.

Also, teenagers must be told that, even if it is a normal thing, a thing that most people do, it is something that doesn't necessarily have to be known by other people, and that includes members of the family.

The best thing to do is to tell the teenagers that it's best if they masturbate in their bedroom or in the bathroom.

One more thing that parents need to clarify to their teenagers is what �Doing it in private� actually means.

Some young teenagers might understand that �private� means it's OK to masturbate in front of family and friends. It all depends on what the parents want to teach their teenagers.

Teenagers may think that as long as they share the same house, sleep together, bathe and dress together it's also okay to masturbate in front of their family. This, if not corrected might lead to the teenagers masturbating in front of schoolmates, resulting in humiliation.

That's why i think it's best that parents tell their children about how masturbation is regarded and when and where it's OK to do it.

If the parent sees the teenager masturbate or explore their genitals in �inappropriate� places or in awkward moments, they should distract them with something else, and remind them about when and where they should masturbate.

All parents should be supportive of their child's sexual explorations and regard them as something normal, something that comes with age and the need to discover that comes with being a teenager.

It's normal for parents to worry that their child might engage in masturbation in public places.

However, the parents might also think about the fact that teenagers masturbating in �public� don't harm themselves or other people.

Another thing that people should think about when it comes to teenagers is that sexual behaviors have been noticed in fetuses.

A 32 week old female fetus has been observed masturbating by a team of doctors.

The fetus would touch the vulva with caressing movements, mainly in the area of the clitoris. The movements lasted about 40 seconds and were followed by short breaks.

The touches were also associated with movements of the pelvic region and legs.

After about 20 minutes, the fetus experienced contraction of the muscles of the trunk and limbs then rapid muscle contractions of the body and climax.

A boy at 28 weeks gestation age has been seen by ultrasonogram masturbating for about 15 minutes . Also, fetal erection is not something uncommon.

The parents should know that denying their children masturbation they cause in the teenagers the same frustration and unhappiness they feel when their sexual needs are not satisfied.
